Yes, they are! This is what your pet was designed to eat! Quality raw meats are not just perfectly safe for dogs and cats, they are ideal.
A lot of dogs take to a raw diet immediately without any issues. We suggest you start by serving 75% usual food in the morning with 25% raw pet food in the evening for the first week. Then move to 100% raw the second week. This should make sure the transition is smooth for you pet.
Yes you can keep any unused portion in the fridge until the next meal time. You cannot refreeze any pet food that has been defrosted.
Wash your hands thoroughly after handling the food.
Wash utensils used to serve the food after every meal.
Wash the bowl, plate, slow feeder, board, and feeding toys after every use
Wipe down the surfaces with hot soapy water after preparing each meal or filling toys
Wash the cloths used frequently
Don’t store any animal foods or treats next to human foods
