The Directors and Managers of Southcliffe Foods have a combined experience of over 100 years working in the human grade food chain.

Around 95% of all our deliveries are done using our own temperature controlled vehicles. This helps to maintain our enviable record of great customer service ensuring that not only do our deliveries arrive on time, they are also at the correct temperature.

Southcliffe Foods is Defra approved. Defra is a government department that regulates the manufacture of animal foods. This provides reassurance that strict procedures are adhered to during the whole manufacturing process at Southcliffe Foods.

Our products are frozen onsite within minutes of being packed, ensuring that all the goodness is locked in.

What is in Southcliffe minces?

100% natural goodness! We use human grade meat, fish and poultry with absolutely no nasties, fillers or artificial flavourings.

Why is a raw diet better for dogs and cats?

Southcliffe raw meals are full of the nutrients that dogs and cats need to thrive. Raw food is exactly what a canine and feline digestive system is designed to thrive on.

What are the real benefits for dogs and cats to eat raw diet?

Your pet will have noticeable better oral hygiene, improved digestion, as well as having a noticeable better coat and skin. You are also likely to notice a reduction in bad odours from both ends and their stools will be firmer and easier to collect for disposal.

Are the raw mince packs a complete meal?

Southcliffe Foods produces two ranges of minces, the Complete range is as the name suggests, a complete meal in itself. Our standard meal range is a complimentary meal and other foods can be added to it or served with it.

Can I buy Southcliffe products if I’m not a trade customer?

We have a large number of dedicated retail stockists and raw specialists across the UK that are happy to help and support you as well as provide our products. For this reason, we believe in supporting them and that it would therefore be unethical to sell directly to the public. Please visit the ‘stockists’ tab to find your local store.

Does Southcliffe have a range of treats that owners can feed their pets as well as the main minces range?

Yes, absolutely! We have a fantastic range of premium quality frozen and dried treats available.

Are there any fillers or artificial flavourings in Southcliffe raw meals?

Absolute not!! We take great pride in only including healthy and nutritious ingredients in our meals that will enable dogs and cats to thrive.

What does ‘single source protein’ mean?

Single source protein means that all the ingredients in the pack are from the animal species that is specified rather than from a variety of animals. Most raw food manufacturers charge extra money for single source protein meals, at Southcliffe Foods we do this as standard!

What does 80, 10, 10 mean?

This refers to the balanced ratio that is in the pack. The optimum balance in a complete meal for dogs and cats is 80% meat, 10% offal and 10% ground bone.
